Because that is exactly what makes MeiWok, translated as “beautiful wok”, so special: sustainable products in organic quality, without preservatives and additives, free from genetically modified soybeans. The fruit and vegetables are also supplied from the region, the water is filtered from the tap and the dishes are compostable – a sustainable restaurant dream! This dream came in 2013 after founder Ngea Huong saw the short video “Meet Meat”. The decision to eat a more conscious and vegan diet was made quickly and so was the desire to share this decision with like-minded people. MeiWok opened its doors in Cologne for the first time in November 2013. One of the first vegan restaurants that has not lost its uniqueness since then. On the contrary, MeiWok not only attracts the vegan scene, but also guests who prefer sustainable and conscious nutrition to everything else. At MeiWok in Cologne, the office community is cooked just as happily as large families, couples and of course: the vegan and raw community.
Bianco di puro high speed blender in daily use
Paul, founder of bianco di puro, first got to know MeiWok when he wanted to go for a vegan lunch with his team. He ended up in the MeiWok and was immediately hooked after a delicious curry. The first contact was made and soon afterwards MeiWok started working with the bianco di puro high-performance mixers.The mixers quickly became a highlight in the kitchen, because the versatility of the bianco di puro mixers made it possible to finally implement new ideas and create new recipes. A total of three of the mixers are in operation, which mix sauces and pastes to chopped peanut pieces to infuse water and smoothies every day. “Since we have been using the bianco mixer, our smoothies are smoother and the sauces are creamier,” Ngea and Sarah Helena tell us in the interview.

Gluten-free or sugar-free, with or without garlic, very hot or just a touch of spice – all wishes are accepted and implemented with great dedication. Every single dish is freshly prepared. The roots of the dishes go back to the family history, because the basic recipes are still those of Ngea’s mom, which she developed further for MeiWok and combined into a completely vegan menu. Also here, attention is paid to the smallest detail, so even the ice cubes are not made from tap water, but made with filtered water. We are absolutely thrilled with the passion and respect for nature that is cooked, served and served!
